Electrostatic

Separators from hamos

Electrostatic effects have been known for over 2500 years. Since the beginning of the 20th century, electrostatics have been used in particular for sorting mixtures of minerals. hamos utilises electrostatic effects to separate a wide variety of mixed materials: Differences in conductivity make it possible to separate the finest metal particles from plastics and other non-conductors (hamos KWS), while tribo-electric effects make it possible to separate various plastic mixtures (hamos EKS) electrostatically. Both effects are used in the field of mineral separation (hamos EMS and KMS).
