Fibre Separation


You manufacture:

Garden hose When scrap PVC products are shredded and granulated, the fine polyester fibres, fibre wool and other fuzz cause severe problems, making the re-use of the scrap PVC as recycled material difficult or even impossible. In addition the PVC particles have fine fibres, still sticking in the surface.

Fibre fuzz "Flaming" of the fibres does not separate all fibres and can be dangerous.


The hamos solution :

Abgetrennte Fasern nach F E X PVC- hose production scrap is granulated to 2-4 mm (1/8 in.).

The fine polyester fi-bers of the knit reinforcement are separated by the hamos FEX fibre separator.

The PVC surface is cleaned, polyester fuzz and wool are separated.

The fibre fraction is inciner-ated or land-filled.

Upon request we supply a turn-key system for the recycling of granulated scrap PVC with all necessary equipment like grinders, material transport systems, silos, hop-pers, framework, dust filters etc. Additional screens for the separation of polyester balls can be delivered as well.

We have made hundreds of separation tests with different materials. We will show you with your own product, how your scrap PVC can be made free of polyester fiber by using the hamos FEX fiber separator. We would need approx. 10 kg (20 lbs.) of your material for a test.
