Operating principle

The plastic mixture to be separated is given from a storage container/silo via a vibration feeder to the triboelectric loading unit. Different plastics are material-specifically differently electrostatically charged, i.e., they assume either a positive or negative charge.
After the loading the plastic mixture is fed into a high voltage separation unit.
The mixture passes an electrode system, where the different plastic fractions are separated according to their polarity electrostatically into the single fractions.

To achieve optimal separation results, the plastic mixtures to be separated must be constituted as follows:
